Membership
Application for General Membership in CREW – Fort Lauderdale / Palm Beach
is open to commercial real estate professional women and men who meet the following
criteria:
1. Active employment
in the field of commercial real estate for a minimum of 5 years. Our Bylaws identify
the "field of commercial real estate" as professional services in the
investment in, ownership, development or operation of income-producing property,
including land, and improvements to the land and rights to use them, for business
purposes."
2. Two verifiable
references within the commercial real estate industry. References are required
to be from sources other than the applicant's current employer. Current CREW Members
and/or Board Members are eligible references.
3. Attendance at
a previous CREW meeting or function.
4. Submission of
full membership fees at time of application.
Associate
Membership
Application for Associate Membership in CREW – Fort Lauderdale / Palm Beach
is open to commercial real estate professional women and men with less than the
minimum 5 years of applicable experience required for General Membership. Please
note that Associate Members are non-voting members. Associate Members shall pay
the same dues as Regular Members and shall actively serve on a minimum of one
committee for at least 2 years, or until the Associate Member has 5 years of commercial
real estate experience, to be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors. Associate
Memberships are limited to ten percent (10%) of the total membership.
Affiliate
Membership
Application for Affiliate Membership in CREW – Fort Lauderdale / Palm Beach
is open to any person whose profession does not meet the requirements of Regular
Membership or Associate Membership. Please note that Affiliate Members are non-voting
members and ineligible to serve on the Board of Directors. In addition to regular
CREW dues, Affiliate Members must pay an annual sponsorship fee of $1000 upon
application and subsequent membership renewal. Sponsorship dollars may be designated
toward regular monthly meeting sponsorship opportunities or special events sponsorship
opportunities. Affiliate Memberships are limited to ten percent (10%) of the total
membership.
